JOB TITLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

SUMMARY
Provide leadership and coordination of company activities in new ventures and products rollout. A team player in creation of new market solutions and service propositions, with a view to increasing company’s bottom line and market share.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Create new business models for emerging businesses and technologies
2. New products development planning and rollout management
3. Marketing, advertising and promotion planning and performance tracking
4. Appropriate administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison with all departments in actualization of business opportunities.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Experience in strategic planning and execution, formidable creative, quantitative, and analytical skills. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
2. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality solutions within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
3. Familiarity with contract negotiation and business modeling.
4. Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering from a reputable university. A Masters Degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
5. Three years of experience in technology and business development position.
